Downey Lake is a relatively small lake in Highland Charter Township, Michigan, roughly 45 miles northwest of Detroit.

Residents on the lake enjoy quick and easy access to help when they need it with the Detroit Medical Center Huron Hospital 10 miles away. Travel is also convenient with the Oakland County International Airport 11 miles away.
